Rental Shop Technician

We are seeking a Rental Shop Technician to join the Mission Ridge team for the 2022-2023 Winter Season! As Rental Shop Technician you will work alongside a team and report to the Rental Shop Manager

Responsibilities:

• Execute repair, maintenance, and testing of equipment according to established guidelines
• Greet guests upon entry to rental shop
• Ensure rental forms are complete, accurate and signed off
• Fit guests with ski and snowboard equipment with a focus on safety and guest comfort
• Daily custodial duties, including cleaning, vacuuming, waste disposal and washrooms
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• General competence when working with hand tools, power tools, irons and wax
• Waxing and basic tuning of rental equipment
• Assist with general maintenance of resort facilities including snow removal, waste disposal etc
• Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures

​Qualifications:

• Previous experience in skiing and snowboarding equipment an asset
• Ability to work independently, prioritize and multi-task
• Proficient organizational abilities
• Exceptional customer service skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
